Conv Factor = lineal foot conversion factor
Unts p/Pkg = board foot conversion factor per
100 BF. For example, the
conversion factor for 8 ft 2x4 is
regularly 5.333 but use 533.3
instead.
Type (0-7) = 1
Cost = per 100 LF. But when receiving
the item, (in IM2.D) use the cost
per 1000 BF.
3. S = buy at square feet but sell each. Set up the
item as follows:

C or M = blank
Conv Factor = 1
Unts p/Pkg = how many square feet
Type (0-7) = 0
Price = each price per 1000 square feet

4. P = but at package level, sell each. Set up the
item as follows:

Unts p/Pkg = quantity in each package

Cost = per each (in IM2.D)
27. Vol/Wt 1. Enter the weight of the item. If it is an each item
(type 0), enter the weight of one unit (i.e., hammer
weighs 2 pounds, enter 2). If it is a type 1 item
(specified length) priced per 10000, enter the
weight of 1000 BF (i.e., 1000 board feet of 2x4-08
Fir Dry weighs 1700 pounds, enter 1700). If it is
priced per 100 lineal feet, enter the weight of 100
lineal feet and so on.
2. This feature will give you weight information at
POS. It will show the weight by line item and a
total weight for the ticket.
3. It is also used in conjunction with the delivery
system.
