What to do if Aerotech Controller amplifier faults and “ENA” LED de-energizes?
- MMr. Jesse Fry MDAug 11, 2025
If the Aerotech Controller's amplifier faults and the ENA LED de-energizes, this could be due to several reasons. It may be caused by exceeding the RMS current, in which case you should run the system at a lower current. Another cause could be an over-temperature condition; turn off the amplifier and allow it to cool down, then ensure better ventilation. It can also be caused by incorrectly set axis parameters or attempting to exceed system capabilities, or a motor feedback problem (encoder or Hall inputs).
