OTDR Testing
How to Perform an OTDR Test
Press Menu
to display the Main Menu.
Select desired test mode (Full Auto, Expert or Real-Time).
Review settings using the tab keys.
Save
After completing a test, press the Save
key to save le in current folder with name established
in the setup process.
Save-As
To change the folder, job name, or other parameter after a test has been completed, go to the Job
Information page
and make the changes. Changes only apply to the current test!
How to Save an OTDR Test
If needed, change settings using
Test
keys.
Press Test
to start a test
When test is done, use the tab keys to view the results. See section “OTDR Test Results
Viewer” on page 42 for details.
To change any Job settings, go back to New Job and edit if you want to apply to the entire Job.
Adjustments made on the Job Settings page will only apply to current unsaved trace(s).
To save results press Save
