3Using the Module
Install the Optional Integrated Column Compartment
7 Connect the column to the free end of the capillary
coming from the ICC heat exchanger. For best perfor
-
mance, use capillaries with the InfinityLab Quick Con-
nect Fitting.
a Turn the column onto the Quick Connect Fitting
until the first resistance is observed.
b Close the lever to establish a pressure tight connec-
tion.
8 Connect a suitable capillary to the outlet port of the col-
umn. For best performance, use capillaries with the
InfinityLab Quick Turn Fitting.
a Connect the capillary with the Quick Connect Fitting
and tighten it until finger-tightness.
The fitting should be pressure tight up to 600 bar.
b If needed, tighten the fitting further with the help of
two suitable wrenches.
