Store As
You can store External Gain/Loss values for use in later measurements.
Store as Ext Loss/Gain You can store External Gain/Loss values for use in later
measurements.
Some measurements refer to this value as “Ext Loss” and some as “Ext Gain”. There are
also some conditions where this label is changed based on Scale Type (Loss|Gain). Loss
and Gain are the negatives of each other. So, if the value you want to enter is a loss and the
key label shows “Loss”, then enter it as a positive value. But if the value you enter is a loss
and the key label shows “Gain”, then enter it as a negative value.
Ext Gain Inputs a value for any external gain that is in your measurement system, that is
not from the unit under test. This lets you correct the displayed measurement values to
account for this gain. A gain would be a positive value, while a loss would be a negative
value.
