One Port Insertion Loss Measurement
Mode
Meas Setup
Meas Setup accesses a menu of keys to set up the Return Loss measurement. This section
describes the menu keys available with
One Port Insertion Loss measurement selected. To
turn on the measurement, select
Meas, One Port Insertion Loss.
Avg Mode
Sets the type of termination control used for the averaging function. This determines the
type of averaging that will be used for the specified number of measurements.
Off Turns averaging functions off.
Exponential Sets the averaging function to exponential. With exponential averaging mode,
each successive data acquisition is exponentially weighted and combined with the existing
average. This weights new data more than the old data, which facilitates tracking of slow
changing signals.
Max Hold In
Max Hold the analyzer maintains and displays a max hold trace, which
represents the maximum data value on a point-by-point basis of the new trace data and
