File Menu (Connued)
Open Broadcast - Seleng “Open Broadcast” will bring up the Open Broadcast menu, allowing users to input
an IP address and port to receive video from. Performance is bandwidth dependent.
Save - Selecng “Save” will immediately save a copy of the image tab currently open to the default folder, ,
while sll leaving the image tab acve. If the le has not been saved before, it will default to the “Save As...”
funcon, and require a name to be input, and a le type selected. Control + S is the keyboard shortcut for this
opon.
Save As... - “Save As” will, regardless whether the image has been saved before or not, open a dialog menu
requiring le name and le type selecon, and allows you to save the le.
Batch Save - This menu opon allows the user to save mulple captured images at once, using a designated
le prex, name, and le type, and automacally appending a numerical value to the image.
Quick Save - “Quick Save” saves the currently opened image tab without requiring name or format input. It will
default to the values set in the “Opons -> Preferences” menu. Control + Q is the keyboard shortcut for this
opon.
Paste as New File - If an image le is copied onto the clipboard in Windows, this funcon will allow the user to
paste that image into a new image tab.
Twain: Select Device - AmScope/ToupView soware supports other Twain compable image capture devices.
Unfortunately, we at AmScope do not support other devices on our soware, nor do we support third party
sowares for our camera devices. This menu opon is used to select a Twain compable source to use within
the soware. All AmScope/ToupTek cameras are part of the AmCam/Toupcam Twain source.
Twain: Acquire - Allows the user to acquire an image from a Twain compable device. Please see above.
Print Setup - Acvang “Print Setup” brings up a menu to allow the user to select which printer, and what
prinng opons, they would like to use to print the currently acve image prior to prinng.
Print Preview - “Print Preview” shows the user a preview of what to expect to come from their selected printer
if the image in the acve tab is printed (size and orientaon parcularly). Control + Shi + P is the keyboard
shortcut for this funcon.
Print - Allows the user to print the currently acve tab with their default printer and prinng opons. Control +
P is the keyboard shortcut for this opon.
Recent Files - Contains a list of recently saved and opened les for ease of access.
Exit - Closes the AmScope/ToupView soware.
