Measurement Menu
The “Measurement” menu contains the same tools as the top toolbar for drawing and measuring, with a few
new features not found there, such as the “Scale Bar...” and “Z Order” features.
The majority of the tools are covered in the top tool bar secon, so in this secon, we will only cover the “Ob-
ject Select,” “Scale Bar...,” and the “Z Order” funcons.
Object Select - The “Object Select” tool allows the user to select a specic drawn or measured element in an
image for viewing or manipulang with other tools.
Scale Bar... - The “Scale Bar” funcon allows the user to designate a scale bar to be placed on an image, allow-
ing quick reference of size when viewing a measured sample.
Z Order... - The “Z Order...” funcon allows a user to move a drawn measurement up or down in the “Z” dimen-
sion, which would be considered the layering order if the image was laid at on a table, and the measurements
were laid on top of it. A line can be placed on top of a circle, for example, to superimpose the image above the
circle, or moved behind it.
