Layer Menu
The “Layer” menu is used to create and manipulate various dierent levels within the image. Each layer can
contain image data, measurement data, or other annotaons, allowing a user to non-destrucvely create these
notes on an image, and edit or delete one, without having to start over again, or take a new image if a change
needs to be made. There is also a “Layers” sidebar that can be used for easier navigaon.
New... - The “New...” funcon creates a new layer in the current acve image.
Remove... - The “Remove...” command eliminates the currently acve layer.
Current... - The “Current...” command sets the selected layer as the acve layer.
Show/Hide... - The “Show/Hide...” command will either display or not display the currently acve layer as a
toggle.
Rename... - The “Rename” command allows you to change the name of the layer for organizing data on mul-
ple layers easier.
Export to Image - The “Export to Image” command exports the currently acve image with all layers to an im-
age le.
Export to Microso Excel - The “Export to Image” command exports the currently acve image with all layers
to an Excel spreadsheet.
