Color Composite
4. Once the color is selected, the image will change with the selected color, and the slider opons to the right
will be enabled for adjustment. They are, le to right, posional adjustment (aligning mulple images is cri-
cal when you are coloring the gray images of the same image in for dierent color channels), brightness (B),
contrast (C), and gamma (G). Background allows an image to be set as a non mixed image, so not aected by
sengs selected here, allowing, for example, a red dot on a blue background won’t turn the dot magenta.
The user may connue to add images, change colors, and turn layers on/o by clicking the color box next to
the image name in the composite list. When nished, close the box, and the newly composited image will be
displayed as its own new image le. To discard and start fresh, click the “New” buon. Because of the exible
nature of the tool, experimentaon by each user is necessary to provide best results for your stain/sample.
