Color Composite
4. Once the color is selected, the image will change with the selected color, and the slider opons to the right
will be enabled for adjustment. They are, le to right, posional adjustment (aligning mulple images is cri-
cal when you are coloring the gray images of the same image in for dierent color channels), brightness (B),
contrast (C), and gamma (G). Background allows an image to be set as a non mixed image, so not aected by
sengs selected here, allowing, for example, a red dot on a blue background won’t turn the dot magenta.
The user may connue to add images, change colors, and turn layers on/o by clicking the color box next to
the image name in the composite list. When nished, close the box, and the newly composited image will be
displayed as its own new image le. To discard and start fresh, click the “New” buon. Because of the exible
nature of the tool, experimentaon by each user is necessary to provide best results for your stain/sample.
