Window Operations
CAUTION
Be sure to connect the supplied protection cap (J1363A) to
the data input connector you don’t use when the data
input condition is set to Single-ended.
Operating while signal is input to the unused connector
can cause malfunction.
Table 4.4.1-2 Data input condition setting items
Data Termination setting items Description
Differential
100Ohm
When the input connector is open, the midpoint of the Data
terminator (50
) and the XData terminator (50
) is connected
to the ground through a high resistance for equipment safety.
Differential
50 Ohm
GND
Terminated at 50
/GND
Single-Ended
Variable
Terminates into a setting voltage in the range of 50 W/2.5 to
+3.5 V, in 10 mV steps.
CAUTION
Avoid feeding excessively high current to the internal
termination resistor of MP1862A. Failure to do so may
degrade the performance or cause a malfunction.
If a differential signal is input to each of the Data and
XData connectors when Single-Ended is clicked in the
Input Condition box, the threshold margin will be
doubled.
Table 4.4.1-3 Threshold Voltage settings
Setting items Description
Data Threshold
XData Threshold
Set in range of 3.500 to + 3.300 V in 0.001-V steps.
If
Differential 50Ohm
or
Differential 100Ohm
is clicked in the
Input Condition
box, values for
Data Threshold
and
XData
Threshold
are restricted so that the difference (absolute value)
of them can be within 3.000 V.
Data-XData
XData-Data
Set in range of 3.000 to +3.000 in 0.001-V steps.
