4.20 USB Firmware Update
Antelope Camera System provides firmware updates for its devices to help address any known
issues and to add new features.
Update the OCP firmware using a USB flash drive:
USB memory device requirements:
- USB specification 2.0 (or higher) and should not have more in capacity than 4GB.
- Should be Fat32 formatted and blank (should not contain any files)
1. Download the update file to your PC.
2. Rename file to "ocppico.bin".
3. Insert the USB storage device into your PC. Copy or drag and drop the firmware update file to
the root directory of your USB device.
Note! “The root directory” is the first or top-most directory of the device, which contains all
the other folders.
4. Make sure the OCP is powered off, then insert the USB flash drive into the upper USB Firmware
Update Port (55) on the OCP.
5. Keep the Saturation DIal (I) pressed, while powering on the OCP to boot the unit into flash
mode.
6. The OCP display shows:
OCP Bootloader v.1.01e
Entering Flash Mode
USB Init Done
USB Key Dectected
Press (1) OCP Mini
Press (2) OCP Pico
NB: If Key not found
Turn Red White Pot
6. Press the Gain/Hue Button (B) to start the update.
WARNING: During the software installation process, please do not remove the USB device
or turn off the OCP!
6. When the software update is complete, a message appears on the display indicating the
software update was successful.
