5.8.4 Playback
The Playout button (L) initiates a playback from the current frame until the mark out point (by
default the last frame of the bank) of the selected memory bank. To select a bank, press the Select
Memory Bank button (A) with the corresponding number (1,2,3 or 4). For playouts a bank with a
captured clip has to be selected. Scroll back or forth with the Jog dial (G/H) (use the inner jog
wheel (G) to slow shuttle and the outer shuttle wheel (H) to fast shuttle) to the desired part and
push the Playout button (L) for the playout. With the Pause button (F) the playback can be
stopped at the current position. The timeline on the bottom of the display indicates the actual
shuttle position and the length of the captured clip. Mark the timeline with buttons Mark 1 or Mark 2
and jump straight to them with buttons Goto 1 or Goto 2.
Pressing and holding Playout button (L) initiates a playback in loop mode. In loop mode the
selected video sequence is repeatedly played. Use the Mark1 button (B) to set the in and Mark 2
button (C) to set the out point for the playout in loop mode.
Note! After triggering, the playout position is always at end of the clip, so you have to rewind, if
you like to jump straight to the beginning of the clip push two times play button. This also works
when the playout is finished and on its end point.
Note! Banks which are in use and therefor have the status Play cannot be deleted!
5.8.5 Pause Recording
The Pause Button (F) stops the actual playback at the current frame.To continue the playback
press the Play button (L) .
5.8.6 Mark 1/2 Buttons
After finding the start point of your desired playback using the Jog and Shuttle Dial (G/H) this in
point can be marked. By pressing the Mark Button (B/C) once the actual in point is set at current
frame. The RCP offers you the possibility to set (mark) two different in points, each can be set with
the Mark 1 Button (B) or the Mark 2 Button (C), respectively.
The In / Current / Out Indicator (O) displays the starting frame, the currently displayed frame
and the end frame of the actual video clip.
5.8.7 Goto 1/2 Buttons
After setting the starting point of your desired playback by using the Mark Button (B/C) you can
jump to this stored point by using the Goto Button (I/J). Pressing the Goto Button (I/J) jumps to
the in point stored previously with the Mark Button (B/C). The Playout button (L) initiates a
playback from this point until the mark out point (by default the last frame of the bank).
The In / Current / Out Indicator (O) displays the starting frame, the currently displayed frame
and the end frame of the actual video clip.
