5.7.1.4 Bit Depth
The bit depth relates to how many different brightness levels are available in each of the three red,
green and blue color channels. This menu item indicates the current bit depth, depending on the
selected frame rate. For frame rates higher than 283 frames per second, only 8 bit depth can be
used.
024 - 283 fps = 10 bit depth
284 - 350 fps = 8 bit depth
5.7.2 Framerate / Camera Speed
5.7.2.1 FPS
In the fps menu the camera recording frame rate (in frames per second) is defined. Select the
respective item by turning the Select dial (K), then press the Select dial (K) once. The arrow
indicates the active item. By turning the Select dial (K) you change the settings. Confirm your
settings by pressing the Select dial (K) once.
FPS
In the FPS menu the selection of the frames per second is defined.
1-350 fps in 8 bit mode
1-283 fps in 10 bit mode
Please note that it is necessary to use the OCP to set the camera to 8 bit mode in order
to set higher frame rates than 283 fps.
5.7.2.2 Play Mode
In the Play Mode menu the Video Out signal is set. Select the respective item by turning the Select
dial (K), then press the Select dial (K) once. The arrow indicates the active item. By turning the
Select dial (K) you change the settings. Confirm your settings by pressing the Select dial (K)
once.
