2.4.5 Impact Absorber
Removing
– Remove bumper. Refer to ⇒ “2.4.1 Rear Bumper“, page 182 .
– Detach shock absorber -1- from impact member -2-
-arrows A- and remove toward the back -arrow B-.
Installation
Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:
– Install the bumper. Refer to
⇒ “2.4.1 Rear Bumper“, page 182 .
2.4.6 Impact Member
Removing
– Remove bumper. Refer to ⇒ “2.4.1 Rear Bumper“, page 182 .
– Remove the bolts -arrows-.
Note
There is a different number of screws on the left and right.
– Remove the impact bar -1-.
Installation
• For the correct tightening specifications, refer to
⇒ “1.4.2 Impact Member, Shock Absorber and Guide Piece
Assembly Overview“, page 161 .
Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:
