10.11 Mirror Imaging
The camera’s reverse X and reverse Y functions let you flip the captured images horizontally and/
or vertically before they are transmitted from the camera.
Note that the reverse X and reverse Y functions may both be enabled at the same time if so desired.
10.11.1 Reverse X
The reverse X feature is a horizontal mirror image feature. When the reverse X feature is enabled,
the pixel values for each line in a captured image will be swapped end-for-end about the line’s
center. This means that for each line, the value of the first pixel in the line will be swapped with the
value of the last pixel, the value of the second pixel in the line will be swapped with the value of the
next-to-last pixel, and so on.
Figure 111 shows a normal image on the left and an image captured with reverse X enabled on the
right.
