SETUP AND CALIBRATION, CONT.
1. Parameters
With the Scale 1 – Calibration Options screen displayed, press the 1 key or use the
Navigation Keys to select (highlight) 1. Parameters. and then press the ENTER key.
The display will change to show the Scale 1 – Calibration General screen.
Scale 1 – Calibration – General
Capacity:
With the Scale 1 - Calibration – General screen displayed the current setting for the
Capacity: parameter will be shown. If the setting displayed is acceptable, proceed to
the next parameter.
Otherwise, use the numeric keys to enter the maximum weight that may be weighed on
the scale and then press the Down Arrow to advance to the next parameter or press
the ENTER key to save the new setting and return to the previous screen. Note that the
Capacity cannot exceed 7 digits. Allowable values are 1 through 9,999,999.
Base Units:
With the Scale 1 - Calibration – General screen displayed the current setting for the
Base Units: parameter will be shown. If the setting displayed is acceptable, proceed
to the next parameter.
Otherwise, press the SPACE key to step through and select the Base Units and then
press the Down Arrow to advance to the next parameter or press the ENTER key to
save the new setting and return to the previous screen. Supported Base Units are:
If Custom is selected for Base Units:, the following additional parameter will be
shown (below the Base Units: parameter) and requires data to be entered. Otherwise,
proceed to the Interval: parameter.
Custom Label:
With Custom selected for Base Units: the current setting for Custom label: will be
shown. If the setting displayed is acceptable, proceed to the next parameter.
Otherwise, use the alpha-numeric keys to enter a new description for the Base Units
Custom label (up to 4 characters, e.g., Gal. for Gallons) and then press the Down
Arrow to advance to the next parameter or press the ENTER key to save the new setting
and return to the previous screen.
