Scale 1 - Calibration Other Options
Zero Limit:
With the Scale 1 – Calibration – Other Options screen displayed the current setting for
the Zero Limit: parameter will be shown. If the setting displayed is acceptable,
proceed to the next parameter.
Otherwise, press the SPACE key to toggle its status (select YES or NO) and then press
the Down Arrow to advance to the next parameter or press the ENTER key to save the
new setting and return to the previous screen.
Zero Limit: Yes
Zero Limit: No
Select Yes to limit push button zero
and zero tracking to ± 2% of capacity
Full capacity (no limit on push
button zero and zero tracking)
USA:
With the Scale 1 – Calibration – Other Options screen displayed the current setting for
the USA: parameter will be shown. This parameter selects whether the indicator is used
in the USA (domestic) or outside the USA (international). If the setting displayed is
acceptable, proceed to the next parameter.
Otherwise, press the SPACE key to toggle its status (select YES or NO) and then press
the Down Arrow to advance to the next parameter or press the ENTER key to save the
new setting and return to the previous screen.
USA: YES
USA: NO
OC = 104% of scale capacity
OC = scale capacity + 9 grads
2nd Order Lin:
With the Scale 1 – Calibration – Other Options screen displayed the current setting for
the 2nd Order Lin: parameter will be shown. 2nd Order Linearization is a method
used to correct for nonlinearity in the load cell signal. An extra term, which is proportional
to the square of the load cell signal, is used in the conversion of load cell signal into a
weight value. If the setting displayed is acceptable, press the ENTER key to proceed to
the next screen or the Navigation Keys Left Arrow to return to the previous screen.
Otherwise, press the SPACE key to toggle its status (select YES or NO) and then press
the ENTER key to save the new setting and proceed to the next screen.
2nd Order Lin: Yes
2nd Order Lin: No
2nd Order Linearization is Enable.
The COEFF option will be added to
Fine Span screen.
2nd Order Linearization is Disabled.
Fine Span screen contains only Up,
Down, Zero and Quit options.
NOTE: In order for 2nd Order Linearization to take effect, calibration must be
performed with at least a total of three calibration points (no load and two load
points with different weights). If only two calibration points (no load and load)
are used, the COEFF option will NOT be added to the Fine Span screen.
