SETUP AND CALIBRATION, CONT.
OIML:
With the Total – Calibration – Options screen displayed the current setting for the
OIML: parameter will be shown. This parameter determines whether the indicator will be
used in an application requiring an OIML Compliance. If the setting displayed is
acceptable, press the ENTER key to proceed to the next screen or the Navigation Keys
Left Arrow to return to the previous screen.
Otherwise, press the SPACE key to toggle its status (select YES or NO) and then press
the ENTER key to save the new setting and proceed to the next screen.

Selecting Yes meets International Organization of Legal Metrology (OIML) compliance.
When YES is selected, serial port COM3 will be dedicated to outputting scale gross
weight whenever the application program is executing. The application program cannot
manipulate this output in any way. The serial port communications parameters will
default to 9600 baud, 8 data bits, no parity bits and 1 stop bit. Note that the serial port
communication parameters can be change in the Communication setup. The data will be
sent out at a rate of 2 times per second.
Total - Calibration – Other Options
Zero Limit:
With the Total – Calibration – Other Options screen displayed the current setting for the
Zero Limit: parameter will be shown. If the setting displayed is acceptable, proceed
to the next parameter.
Otherwise, press the SPACE key to toggle its status (select YES or NO) and then press
the Down Arrow to advance to the next parameter or press the ENTER key to save the
new setting and proceed to the next screen.
Select Yes to limit push button zero
and zero tracking to ± 2% of capacity
Full capacity (no limit on push
button zero and zero tracking)
