Turnthekeyswitchtotheonpositionandverifythatwarning/indicatorlightsilluminateandturnoffasdesigned.
Testtheparkingandservicebrakes
NOTE:Reviewtheproceduresintheirentiretybeforeproceeding.Ensureyouallowsurplusroomformachinetravel.
1.Totesttheparkingbrake:
A.Fastentheseatbelt.
B.Engagetheparkingbrake.
C.Disengagefourwheeldrive,ifequipped.
D.Placethedirectionalcontrolleverinneutralandthetransmissionin2ndgear.
E.Startuptheengine.
F.Ensuretheloaderbucketandthreepointhitchareraisedinpreparationofforwardtravel.
G.Pressandholdtheservicebrakesandreleasetheparkingbrake.
H.Placethedirectionalcontrolleverinforward.
I.Releasetheservicebrakes.
J.Increasetheenginespeedtofullthrottle.
K.Travelforwardapproximately8m(26ft).
L.Engagetheparkingbrake.Themachineshouldtocometoastopwithin2m(6.5ft)ofengagingtheparking
brakeandthetransmissionshoulddeclutch.Contactyourdealerforserviceasneeded.
2.Totesttheservicebrakes:
A.Movethebrakepedallocktotherighttoholdbothpedalstogether.
B.Fastentheseatbelt.
C.Engagetheparkingbrake.
D.Disengagefourwheeldrive,ifequipped.
E.Placethedirectionalcontrolleverinneutralandthetransmissionin2ndgear.
F.Startuptheengine.
G.Ensuretheloaderbucketandthreepointhitchareraisedinpreparationofforwardtravel.
H.Pressandholdtheservicebrakesandreleasetheparkingbrake.
I.Placethedirectionalcontrolleverinforward.
J.Releasetheservicebrakes.
K.Increasetheenginespeedtofullthrottle.
L.Whenthemachineismovingatfullspeedin2ndgear,pushthebrakepedalsandstopthemachine.The
machinemuststopsmoothlyandthebrakepedaleffortmustfeelrm.Contactyourdealerforserviceas
needed.
