Checktheoperationoftheparkingbrakeaftertherst100hoursofoperation.Thenchecktheparkingbrakeevery
1000hoursofoperation.
1.Makesuretheareaisclearofotherworkersorby-
standers.
2.DisconnecttheconnectorforSpringAppliedHy-
draulicRelease(SAHR)brakesolenoidonthe
transmission.Fordetailedinstructions,refertopage
7-102.
3.Ensuretheoperator'sseatisintheloaderoperation
positionandfastentheseatbelt.
4.Disengagefourwheeldrive,ifequipped.
5.Placethedirectioncontrolleverinneutralandthe
transmissionin3rdgear.
6.Startuptheengine.
7.Ensuretheloaderbucketandthethreepointhitch
areraisedinpreparationofforwardtravel.
8.Placethedirectioncontrolleverinforwardandin-
creasetheenginespeedto1500RPM.Themachine
mustnotmove.Contactyourdealerforserviceas
needed.
9.ConnecttheSAHRbrakesolenoidtothetransmis-
sion.Theconnectormustbeattachedbeforereturn-
ingthemachinetooperation.Fordetailedinstruc-
tions,refertopage7-102.
10.Testtheparkingbraketoensureitengagesanddis-
engagescorrectly.Forexample,transmissionisde-
clutchedwhentheparkingbrakeisapplied.
