7-MAINTENANCE
Disableparkingbrake
Fordisabledmachines,disabletheparkingbrakewhenevertheparkingbrakefailstodisengage.
1.Chockthewheelstopreventmovement.
2.Removethematandoorplate.
3.Locatethesolenoidblockfortheparkingbrakeon
thetransmission.
4.Cleantheareaofdirtanddebris.

5.Removethetwoboltsthatsecurethesolenoidblock.

6.Carefullyliftupandrotatethesolenoidblock90°(1).
7.Reinstalltheboltsandtightentheboltstoatorqueof
20N·m(15lbft).
8.Attachthegreasesupplytothetting(2)andpump
approximately65pumps.
NOTICE:ExtremepressureisNOTneededtoreleasethe
parkingbrake.Overpressurizationmaydamagetheseals.
Moderateeffortisrequiredonthegreasegun.

9.Carefullyremovethewheelchocks,asthemachine
maynowbemoved.
NOTICE:Themachineshouldbefreetoroll.Ifthemachine
doesnotroll,theremaybeanissueintheparkingbrakeor
drivetrain.Contactyourdealer.
NOTICE:Aftergreasehasbeenusedtoreleasethepark-
ingbrakeitwillbenecessarytocleanandushtheen-
tiresystembeforeplacingthemachinebackintooperation.
