Replacethetransmissionlteraftertherst100hoursonanewmachineorifamajorcomponenthasbeenrebuilt.
1.Parkthemachineonlevelground,raisetheloader
arms,engagethesafetysupportstrut,andshutdown
engine.
2.Cleantheareaaroundthetransmissiondipstick(lo-
catedontheleft-handside)andremovethedipstick.

3.Cleantheareaaroundthetransmissionlterhead.
Cleanthesurroundingareastohelpeliminatecon-
tamination.Thelterisontheright-handside,be-
tweenthechassisandthetransmission.
4.Placeasuitablecontainerunderthetransmissionl-
tertocaptureuidduringtheprocedure.
5.Removethelter.Usealterremovaltool,ifneces-
sary.

6.Disposeofthelterandcollecteduidinaccordance
withlocal,regional,andfederalregulations.
7.Lubricatethegasketofthenewlterwithcleanoil.
NOTICE:Neverusealterremovaltooltoinstallthelter.
8.Installthenewlterandturnclockwiseuntilthegas-
ketcontactstheheadofthelterassembly.
9.Continuetotightenthelteranother1/3turn.
10.Replacethetransmissiondipstick.
11.Startuptheengine.
12.Checkforleaksaroundthelter
13.Operatethemachinein1stand2ndgearforafew
minutes.
14.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,raisetheloader
arms,engagethesafetysupportstrut,andshutdown
theengine.
