Changethehydraulicuidandlterafter1000hoursofoperation.Ifamajorcomponentofthesystemhasbeen
replacedorrebuilt,changethelteraftertheinitial10hoursofoperation.
Alwaysreplacethehydrauliclterwheneverthewarninglamp
remainsilluminatedwhiletheengineisrunning
atnormaloperatingtemperature.
1.Foracompletehydraulicsystemuidchange,per-
formthefollowing:
•
Operatethehydrauliccontrolsuntilhydraulic
uidisnearoperatingtemperature.
•
Parkthemachineonalevelsurface.
•
Loaderbucketatontheground.
•
Retractallcylinders.
2.Turnengineoff.
3.Cleantheareasaroundthehydraulicreservoircap,
thehydraulicreservoirdrainplug,andthehydraulic
lter.
4.Slowlyremovethellcap(1)forthehydraulicreser-
voir.
5.Placeasuitablecontainerunderthedrainplug(2)for
thehydraulicreservoirandslowlyremovethedrain
plug.
6.Allowtheuidtocompletelydrain.

7.Turnthehydraulicltercounter-clockwisetoremove.
Usealterremovaltool,ifnecessary.
8.Lubricatethegasketonthenewlterwithcleanoil.
9.Installthenewlterandturnclockwiseuntilthegas-
ketmakescontactwiththelterheadassembly.

10.Continuetotightenthelterfor1/3turn.
11.Disposeofthelterandcollecteduidinaccordance
withlocal,regional,andfederalregulations.
12.Installthehydraulicreservoirplug.
13.Fillthehydraulicreservoirtospecication.
14.Replacethereservoirllcap.
