Duringtherst20hoursofoperation(newmachineorafteranenginerebuild),makesureyou:

Operatethemachinewithnormalloadsfortherst8hours.
•
Donotworktheenginehardatstallspeeds(wheelsslowlyturningorstoppedandtheenginerunningatfullthrottle).
•
Keeptheengineatnormaloperatingtemperature.
•
Donotruntheengineatidlespeedsforlongperiodsoftime.
•
Operatingthemachineatlowidleforprolongedperiods,increasesthefrequencyoftheregenerationprocessand
shortensthelifeofthedieselparticulatelter.
Enginespeed
Itisrecommendedthatyouruntheengineatfullthrottlewhenoperatingconditionspermitandwhensafe.
NOTICE:Donotruntheengineatidlespeedforlongperiods.Thiscancausealowoperatingtemperature.Low
operatingtemperaturecancauseacidsanddepositsintheengineoil.
