7-MAINTENANCE
Generalsafetybeforeyouservice
Unlessotherwiseinstructed,alwaysperformthesestepsbeforeyouservicethemachine:
1.Parkthemachineonaat,levelsurface.
2.Placetheloaderbucketontheground,withthebottomoftheloaderbucketparalleltothesurface,unlessyou
needtoopenthehoodtoperformservice,thenraisetheloaderarmsandinstallthesupportstrut.
3.Placethedirectioncontrolleverandthetransmissioninneutral.
4.Shutdowntheengine.
5.Placea'DoNotOperate'tagonthekeyswitchsothatitisvisibletootherworkersorremovethekey.
Hourmeter
Theenginehourmeterdisplaystheamountofactual
hourstheenginehasrun.Usetheenginehourmeter
alongwiththeMaintenanceChartinthismanualtoser-
viceyourmachineatthecorrecttimeperiods.
NOTE:Youmaychecktheenginehourswithouttheigni-
tionkey.Presseitherofthemenuselectionswitchesand
thecurrentenginehourswillappearinthedisplayfor10
seconds.
