tightenallconnectionsbeforestartingtheengineor
pressurizingthesystem.

Makesureallguardsandshieldsareingoodcondition
andproperlyinstalledbeforeoperatingmachine.Never
operatethemachinewiththeshieldsremoved.Always
closeaccessdoorsorpanelbeforeoperatingthema-
chine.
•
Beforestartingtheengine,besurealloperatingcon-
trolsareintheneutralorparklockposition.
•
Starttheengineonlyfromtheoperator’sseat.
•
Operatecontrolsonlywhenseatedintheoperator's
seat,exceptforthosecontrolsexpresslyintendedfor
usefromotherlocations.
•
Donotallowotherpersonstorideonthemachineor
onanattachment/implement.
•
Operateanddrivethemachinewithcareandatspeed
compatiblewithconditions.Useextracautionwhenop-
eratingoverroughground,onslopes,andwhenturn-
ing.

Ifyourmachinehasacab,makesurethatallwindows
arecleanandthatthewindshieldwipersworkcorrectly.

Dust,fog,smoke,etc.,candecreaseyourvisionand
causeanaccident.Stopthemachineordecreasethe
speeduntilyoucansee.

Understandthemachinelimitationsandkeepthema-
chineundercontrol.

Beforeyouoperateatnight,checkthatalllampsillumi-
nate.

Selectagearthatwillpreventexcessivespeedwhen
goingdownhill.Donotcoastdownhill.
