themachinejustinfrontoftherearaxle.

1.Slowlyopenthehydraulicreservoircaptohelpre-
lievepressure.

2.Cleantheareaaroundthelterheadareabefore
removingtheoldlter.Weareyeprotectiontokeep
dirtanddebrisfromeyes.
3.Usealterwrenchandremovetheoldlter.Have
asuitablecontainerreadytocaptureanyuidthat
mightleakorspill.
4.Disposeofthelterinaccordancewithlocal,re-
gional,andfederalregulations.
5.Lubricatethegasketofthenewlterwithcleanoil.
6.Installthenewlterandturnitclockwiseuntilthe
gasketcontactstheheadofthelterassembly.
7.Continuetotightenthelterfor1/3turn.

8.Tightenthehydraulicreservoircap.
9.Startuptheengine.
10.Ensurethewarninglampdoesnotilluminate.
11.Afterrunningforthreeorfourminutes,shutdownthe
engine.
12.Inspectforleaks.
