Towprocedure-engineruns
1.Engagetheparkingbrake.
2.Blockthewheelswithwheelchocks.
3.Placethetransmissioninneutral.
4.Placethedirectioncontrolleverinneutral.
5.Placethe4WDswitchinthedisengagedposition,ifequipped.
6.Raisetheloaderbucketandrearattachmentofftheground.
7.Attacharigiddrawbartothedisabledmachine.
8.Attachtherigiddrawbartothetowingmachine.Makesurethetowingmachinehasenoughpowerandbraking
abilitytomoveandstopbothmachines.
9.Removethewheelchocks.
10.Releasetheparkingbrake.Iftheparkingbrakewillnotdisengage(foranyreason),manuallydisengagethe
parkingbrake.Refertopage7-102.
11.T owthedisabledmachine,themaximumtowspeedis2.4km/h(1.5mph).

1.Blockthewheelswithwheelchocks.
2.Placethetransmissioninneutral.
3.Placethedirectioncontrolleverinneutral.
4.Placethe4WDswitchinthedisengagedposition,ifequipped.
5.Attacharigiddrawbartothedisabledmachine.
6.Attachtherigiddrawbartothetowingmachine.Makesurethetowingmachinehasenoughpowerandbraking
abilitytomoveandstopbothmachines.
7.Disconnectthereardriveshaft(twowheeldrivemachines)orboththefrontandreardriveshafts(fourwheeldrive
machines).
NOTE:ThemachineisequippedwithSpringAppliedHydraulicReleased(SAHR)parkingbrakeintegratedinthe
transmission.Theparkingbrakeremainsengagediftheengineisdisabled.Manualdisengagementoftheparking
brakeisnotrequiredfortowingwiththedriveshaftsremoved.
8.Removethewheelchocks.
9.Towthedisabledmachine,themaximumtowspeedis2.4km/h(1.5mph).
