Cleaning
the Air Filter
The air filter should be inspected monthly for cleanliness. If found
dirty, clean following the directions below. Cleaning agents that
may be used include a mild detergent solution.
The air filter can be found under the bottom left hand corner of the illuminator.
1. Pull the ring towards you and slide out the air filter.
2. Wash the air filter in a mild detergent solution, rinse in water
and allow to air dry.
3. Align the air filter into its rails (metal grid side up) as shown in the
photographs and slide back under the illuminator until it is in
line with the front of the instrument.
