Chapter 3 – Illuminator Description
Section 3.6 User Access Levels
3-18
Section 3.6 User Access Levels
The illuminator is designed with three user access levels: Operator,
Administrator, and Service. The Service features are accessible only
by a Cerus authorized field service engineer. The table below
contains a summary of the functionality available within each
access level.
All access levels require a username and password. Usernames
must be unique (i.e., two people cannot have the same username)
and cannot be re-used once disabled in the system.
Upon installation, the Cerus authorized field service engineer will
work with your centers designated representative to establish the
first Administrator account in each illuminator. This Administrator
can then set up operator accounts and additional administrator
accounts as needed. The number of authorized administrators
should be defined by your internal policies and procedures.
