Dispositivi di sicurezza (ME2000S)

3.5 Operating precautions and safety regulations
The machine is tted with safety devices to prevent the operator from coming into contact with mechanical and
electrical parts inside the machine while it is in operation.
Only qualied and authorized personnel may access these parts for carrying out maintenance and repairs.
Simple general maintenance can be carried out by the operator without risk of electrocution or injury due to mechanical
devices, but the work must be performed with the machine stationary and disconnected from the power supply.
DANGER!
Do not tamper with the machine's safety devices and do not modify them, even slightly.
The machine is made with ame resistant materials to reduce the risk of re.
It is also equipped with a short-circuit protection system which ensures that the power supply is isolated immediately.
Regularly make sure that the power cable is intact and is free from cuts or cracks.
Cuts or cracks could lead to the user being electrocuted and could cause serious damage to the machine.
WARNING
Do not place or allow liquids to fall onto the cover of the machine as it is not watertight.
It is very important to avoid oxidation which could cause wear and corrode the mechanical parts.
3.6 Noise level
The noise level produced by the machine is less than 75 DB (measured at a distance of 1 m and 1.60 m in height
from the oor).
The above value may be higher if special types of steel tags are being processed or if the machine has been placed
on a work surface that amplies noise or if the machine has not been set up correctly.
The noise values indicated are emission levels and do not necessarily indicate safe operational levels.
The relationship between emission and exposure levels is not reliable enough to establish whether additional
precautions need to be taken or not.
Factors a󰀨ecting the level of operator exposure includes the duration of exposure, the characteristics of the workplace
and any other sources of noise (the number of machines and of other adjacent processes etc.).
The permitted levels of exposure may vary from one country to another.
WARNING
Use personal protective equipment (ear protectors) if the overall noise level in the workplace
exceeds 80 dB.
Prolonged exposure can cause serious hearing damage (noise level higher than 80 dB) or result
in partial or permanent hearing loss (noise level higher than 90 dB).
