Configuring IGMP Snooping
Note When configuring IGMP, configure the VLAN in the VLAN database mode. See Chapter 15,
“Configuring VLANs, VTP, and VMPS.”
IGMP snooping allows switches to examine IGMP packets and make forwarding decisions based on their
content.
