3.6.3.5 E23/E24 Banknote Recycling Units
The recycling units[1] temporarily store banknotes, which
are supposed to be paid out as change to your next cus-
tomer through the recycler's payout slot[2]. The two bot-
tom status LEDs[3] are then flashing green. The banknote
recycler is able to pay out a bundle of up to 15notes. Ex-
cess banknotes stored in the recycling units can be trans-
ferred to the cash box[4] for permanent storage.
Depending on the change demand, the banknote recycler
has two or three recycling units. One recycling cassette is
able to recycle up to 90banknotes of one or two different
denominations. A banknote recycler with two recycling
cassettes thus allows flexible recycling of 180banknotes
of one to four different denominations, a banknote recycler
with three recycling cassettes even 270 of one to six de-
nominations.
E23/E24 Banknote Recycler Payout Slot, LEDs and Recycling Units
The individual recycler configuration determines
· which denominations are to be directed to the recycling units or to the cash box.
· how many banknotes are to be kept in each recycling unit as minimum change stock for the next day, which cannot
be transferred to the cash box.
Recycling units can only be removed by your technical service partner.
