3.6.2.8 E22 Banknote Cash Box
All banknotes accepted, which are not stored in the recyc-
ling unit[1], will be transported to the cash box[2]. Here
they are permanently stored in a secure and removable
cash storage cassette. You need a key to remove the cash
box cassette from the banknote recycler for emptying pur-
poses.
· As an option, the cash box cassette is
equipped with an additional lock.
· Older E22Paypod™ pay stations may
have no interlock.
3.6.3 E23/E24 Banknote Recycler
The E23/E24banknote recycler is designed to validate different banknotes of one currency inserted into the insertion
slot for specific properties. The recycler accepts only valid banknotes. Suspicious or damaged banknotes will be rejec-
ted. Depending on the configuration, accepted banknotes are transported either to one of the recycling units to be re-
turned to your customers as change later on or to the cash box for storage purposes.
Unlike the E23, the E24banknote recycler is equipped with a loading unit used to refill the recycler units and provide
cash to the customer.
