Completing Removal Process of Banknote Cash Box

The cash box stock is reset to zero (cp. stocks screen ), the pay station is back in operating mode and ready for
the next transaction.
The administrator receives a status e-mail giving details such as:
· Cash box content
· Terminal ID
· Alert report of recycling units' levels
· Paypod™ pay station inventory
· User ID
· POSlinq™ middleware version
This confirmation e-mail lists different parameters and numbers depending on the customized con-
figuration. It is also possible to configure various e-mails containing different details to be sent to dif-
ferent addresses.
5.3.2.3 Emptying the E23/E24 Banknote Recycler
To empty the banknote recycler you should be logged on as an administrator and first of all
· transfer all banknotes from the recycling unit(s) and E24loading unit to the cash box
· dispense the minimum banknote stock from the recycling units
· then remove the cash box
In order to guarantee that the system's cash box counter is reset you should always empty the cash
box by means of your POS software or the emptying process of the POSlinq™ middleware.
Transferring banknotes from recycling unit(s) and E24loading unit to cash box
· In case, a recycling unit is full, banknotes are transferred to the cash box automatically.
· When emptying the E24loading unit by removal, the banknotes removed will not be part of the
cash up carried out. So, do not empty the loading unit by removal if you want the banknotes in the
loading unit to be cashed up to the total amount.
Use your POS software or the POSlinq™ middleware to switch the Paypod™ pay stations to an appropriate mode al-
lowing the banknote transfer from the recycling unit(s) and E24loading unit to the cash box:
