17.5 Toolbox
The toolbox increases the application possibilities of the AST11 sequence controller on
manual stations, as well as in connection with a PLC-controller. The toolbox allows the use
of 7 different bits/sockets with a diameter of up to 24mm (AF 19 mm), which can be in-
serted into 7 individual cavities. The selection of the screwdriving program on the AST11 is
automatically adapted to the corresponding bit/socket.

17.7 Barcode scanners
The barcode scanner cannot be used in conjunction with the printer or with the fieldbus
module.
All barcode scanners, which process up to 24 characters and deliver exactly one end-of-
code character, are supported. Scanners with two end-of-code characters are not sup-
ported. The end-of-code character can be between 0x0A and 0x0F (corresponding to
decimal values of between 10 and 15).

The printer cannot be used in conjunction with the barcode scanner or with the fieldbus
module.
