the IP information of the PC.
NOTICE
Please make sure that the PC address of PC belongs to class C networks when
configuring the IP address. Otherwise, the configuration will fail.
Class C IP addresses range: 192.0.0.0 - 223.255.255.255. Default subnet mask:
255.255.255.0.
The IP addresses of Dobot M1and the PC must be on the same network segment
without conflict. The subnet masks of them must be the same.
If the SN number of Dobot M1 is DT211811xxx and earlier numbers, the forced
configuration is not supported. You have to configure the IP address as the following
steps. If the forced configuration function is required, you must configure IP address
as the following steps and then update A9 firmware to the 02005800 version or later
versions. For details, please see 6.9.2 Upgrading Firmware.
If Connect turns to Disconnect, the connection is successful.
The Dobot M1 IP Address Setting page is displayed.
If Network Status of Dobot M1 turns to Connected to LAN, the modification is
successful.
5.2.4.2 Connecting Via Router
This topic describes how to connect the PC to the Dobot M1 with a router and a PC can control
multiple Dobot M1 simultaneously.
NOTICE
Forced configuration function is recommended only when a PC controls a Dobot M1. As
a PC controls multiple Dobot M1 simultaneously, all the IP addresses will be modified
when you modify one of IP addresses by forced configuration.
Prerequisites
The PC has been connected to a router.
