tension can lead to undesired ruffing and thread breaking.
Opening the needle thread tension
When the thread is cut, the main tension (2) is opened automatically.

CAUTION
Risk of injury from sharp and moving parts!
Puncture or crushing possible.
Only thread the needle thread with the machine
switched off.
