6.2 Removing the transport locks
1. Remove the following transport securing devices:
• Lashing straps and wooden blocks from the machine head
• Lashing straps and wooden blocks from the tabletop
• Lashing straps and wooden blocks from the stand.
6.3 Assembly
6.3.1 Checking and assembling tabletops
Machines not entirely supplied by Dürkopp Adler require that the
tabletop be assembled onto the stand.
CAUTION
Danger of injury from a self-manufactured
tabletop of insufficient load-bearing capacity!
Ensure that the tabletop has sufficient load-bearing
capacity and strength.
The cutouts in self-manufactured tabletops must
conform to the dimensions specified in the drawing
(see Appendix).
