3.7 Changing the needle

To change the needle:
1. Loosen the screw (2) and remove the needle.
2. Insert the new needle into the hole in the needle bar (3)
as far as it will go, taking care to ensure that the groove in
the needle (1) faces the hook tip.
3. Tighten the screw (2).
CAUTION
Risk of injury from sharp and moving parts!
Puncture or crushing possible.
Only thread the needle with the machine switched
off.
