3.4.7 Disassembling and assembling the feed dog

Proper setting
The feed dog does not touch the throat plate with the maximum permissi-
ble stitch length.
Disassembling the feed dog
To disassemble the feed dog:
1. Execute the service routine Feed Dog > Assemble ( p. 14).
The software is used to define the necessary presettings on the
machine.
Important
The maximum permissible stitch length can be set in the service routine.
Enter the maximum permissible stitch length before pressing the button 7.
1. Remove the throat plate ( p. 21).
2. Loosen the screws (3).
3. Remove the feed dog (1) from the feed dog carrier (2).
Assembling the feed dog
To assemble the feed dog:
1. Place the feed dog (1) onto the feed dog carrier (2).
2. Tighten the screws (3).
3. Insert the throat plate ( p. 21).
4. Finish the service routine.
