4.9 Setting the needle thread regulator
The needle thread regulator determines the tension applied to
guide the needle thread around the hook.
Proper setting
The loop of the needle thread slides at low tension over the
thickest point of the hook.

To set the needle thread regulator:
1. Loosen the screw (2).
• To increase the tension: Slide the needle thread regula-
tor (1) to the right
• To reduce the tension: Slide the needle thread
regulator (1) to the left
2. Tighten the screw (2).

Puncture, cutting and crushing possible.
Switch off the machine before setting the needle
thread regulator.
