Battery system - Inspecting the battery system

1. Check that the battery system is properly installed in
the machine and the bolts are properly tightened.
NOTE If the battery system is improperly installed or
loose, install the battery system according to section
"Installing the battery system in a machine".
2. Check that the vibration dampers are in place.
NOTE If the vibration dampers are missing, install
them.
3. Check that the battery system does not have any
cracks or other kind of mechanical damage and wear.
NOTE If the battery system is mechanically dameged
or worn, replace the battery.

NOTE Terminals and battery pack are watertight as
long as plugs are properly connected to terminals.
Clean the battery pack with a damp cloth.
