3.7.2 Vent valve output
Connect the vent valve to the "X3 OPTION" connector for ON/OFF control. The vent valve is an
optional accessory. Contact the distributor when purchasing it.
When using the vent valve, set the vent valve function to ENABLE. Set the vent valve setting to
"ENABLE", and the air-cooling fan setting to "DISABLE" via serial port. (see Section 5, "Serial
Communication Protocol" in this Instruction Manual, or the STP-Link (optional accessory) Instruction
Manual, or Table 10 in the display unit iDT-001 (optional accessory) Instruction Manual.

When the vent valve function is enabled, the valve is controlled according to the setting values during
deceleration state. There are two settings, the vent valve starting speed and vent valve running time,
which can be set by customer.

The vent valve settings can be set via the serial communication, the STP-Link (optional accessory) or
the power supply unit iPD-240-24V (optional accessory). Refer to Section 5, "Serial Communication
Protocol" or the Instruction Manuals of each optional accessory for the setting methods.
