To service the fan and motor assembly:
1. Removebackcoverforcontrol.
2.  Unplugfanmotorfromcontrolboard.
3.  Slidefanassemblystraightupoutofcontrol
housing.
Eachfanisconnectedtothecontrolboardona
separateplug.
NOTE
Wheninstallingthenewfanassemblymakesure
thelabelisfacingthevanesintheairdischarge
ofthecontrolhousing.Thelabelisonthe
dischargesideofthefanassembly.
Heater
Theelectricheaterisusedwhenthecustomer
hasselectedadrawertemperaturehigherthan
thesettemperatureinthefoodcompartment.The
heaterisa115VAC20Wattheaterwith651Ohms
resistance,±10%(Seegure14.)
NOTE
Thecapacitorwillcomeaspartoftheheater.
Theheaterhasanalignmentnotchinthemetal
bracketitismountedon.Thisnotchmustlineup
withthetabinthehousingtoallowtheheaterto
tallthewayintothehousing.Ifitisnotlinedup
correctlytherearpanelcannotbeinstalledon
thecontrolunit.
To replace the heater:
1.  Withcontrolunitremoved,removeback
cover.
2.  Disconnectwiresfromcontrolboard.
3.  Liftheaterstraightupandoutofhousing.
4.  Transfersafetythermostatfromoldheaterto
newone.
Addendum A - Perfect Temperature Drawer
Ifthedraweriscallingforheatthedamperwillbe
closedandtheelectricheaterwillbeon.Thefans
willpullthereturnairovertheheaterallowingitto
raisethedrawertemperature.(SeeFigure13.)

willopenat100°Fandresetat80°F.
1. Toservicethermostat,followheater
instructionstoremoveheater.
2.  Disconnecttwowiresfromthermostat.
3.  Removetwoscrewsthatmountthermostatto
heatedbracket.(SeeFigure15)

NTC Thermister
TheNTCthermistor,mountedintheairstream
fromthefreezertotheinletofthedamper,isused
tosenseadefrostcycle.Whenthethermistor
sensesariseinthetemperatureofaircomingfrom
thefreezercausedbyadefrostcycle,thecontrol
willclosethedamperdoor.Itwillrechecktheair
temperatureandkeepthedampercloseduntilthe
airisbacktonormalcyclingtemperatureafterthe
