8. Disconnecttwoleadstodefrostheater.
CAUTION
This is a good time to test the heater.
Check resistance of defrost heater using
a multimeter. Resistance should be very
close to 30 ohms. Replace defrost heater if
resistance readings are out of range.
CAUTION
Use caution not to damage suction line or cap
tube.
9. Unclipgroundwirehookedtodraintrough.
10. Removescrewholdingevaporatorbracket
throughdraintroughtocabinet.
11. Removerivetholdingbrackettotroughand
setbracketasideforreuse.
12. Removescrewholdingdraintroughto
cabinet.
13. Liftupandpullevaporatoranddraintrough
outatbottom.
3. Removeicecontainerandrailassembly.The
multiconnectoratbackofrailassemblymust
bedisconnectedbeforerailassemblywill
comefree.
4. Loosenthe2screwsholdingicemakerto
rightsideofcompartmentjustenoughtolift
icemakerfree.Themulticonnectormustbe
disconnectedbeforeicemakerwillcomefree
fromcompartment.
5. Removetworailassemblysupports.(two
screwsoneachone).
6. Removefourscrewsfromevaporatorcover.
7. Removevescrewsonevaporatorairduct
cover.
