4.6.3.3 Loss of GPS signal
If Zoe experiences a loss of GPS signal, do the following:
Use the flight mode switch to switch to Altitude-Hold mode.
Hold Zoe in cruise position with sufficient distance from any possible objects.
Move Zoe towards home. Keep it at an appropriate altitude to prevent collisions, and stay at a
safe distance from objects.
Land Zoe.
If for any reason you can’t return the drone to the home position, find an appropriate spot to
safely land. Check that there are no people or objects or people close to the landing spot. Land
Zoe as soon as possible.
4.6.3.4 Not enforced flight maneuver
When Zoe initiates an unexpected flight maneuver, the procedure will depend on the situation. Don’t
do anything drastic, such as cutting off power immediately. If Zoe moves without any input from the
controller, there may be a number of reasons for this.
IMU calibration: If the drone is slowly drifting without any controller input, the IMU will need to
be recalibrated. Land Zoe normally, and then contact Customer Success
9
.
Use the controller: If Zoe moves violently, try correcting it using the controller.
If the controller doesn’t respond to input: If in Hovermap mode, switch to Loiter mode if GPS
is available. If GPS is not available, switch to Altitude-Hold mode.
4.6.3.5 Obstacle collision
If you have hit an obstacle and crashed during flight, do the following:
Try to regain some control by switching to Altitude-Hold mode.
Stay away from the drone if the batteries have caught fire.
Call the local emergency number if anyone has been hurt.
If the drone does not show any smoke or fire, take the batteries out of the drone as soon as
possible.
Inform your local air force authority and report the crash.
