3.2.4 Web UI functions
The following functions are available in the Web UI.
3.2.4.1 Remotely start or stop a scan
When Hovermap is in a ready state, press Start to start scanning and collecting data. While Hovermap
is scanning, this button changes to a red Stop button. Press Stop to stop the scan and place Hovermap
back into the ready state. At all other times, the button will change to a blue Wait button. This indicates
that the system is in a transition or transfer state.

Web UI layout
Start/Stop button: The Start button appears when the system state is
stopped. The Stop button appears when the system state is running. The
Wait button appears during the transition between states.
Set button: Press Set to confirm the scan name.
State: Shows the current state of the system.
System Time: Shown in UTC format.
Free Space: Shows the amount of free space on the internal solid-state
drive.
Upgrade Software: Select Upgrade Firmware to update.
Device Details: Press the expander and collapse buttons to see the
firmware version and the serial number of the unit.
Scans tab: Shows the scan data that has not yet been transferred from the
Hovermap.
Transferred tab: Shows scan data that has been successfully transferred
to an external USB flash drive.
USB Log tab: Shows details, including what data has been already been
transferred to an external USB flash drive.

