5.2.3.1 Visual check
Check each propeller for visual damage. If any cracks, dents, or bends are visible, replace the
propeller. Do not attempt to fly the drone.
If during a preflight check or operation, you have doubt about the propeller's performance
(vibrations, or large visual track), check the propeller for balance and track.
5.2.3.2 Propeller track
Check propeller track by positioning a stick, or another indication tool, close to the tip of the
propeller horizontally on the same base as the Zoe.
Mark the position of the tip on the horizontal stick, and keep Zoe in the same position.
Rotate the propeller so that the opposite propeller tip moves along the indication tool. Mark the
position of that tip as well.
If the propeller track (the distance between the marks) is more than 4 mm, check the propeller
for any deformation or imbalance.
If the propeller is deformed or damaged, please replace the propeller.
If the propeller is ok, there may be some play in the motor or deformation of the motor mount. In this
case, do the following:
Check the motor for excessive play or imbalance. If it has excessive play, imbalance, or other
abnormalities, contact Customer Success

.
If the motor is ok, there may be deformation in the motor mount. Check the motor mount for
any bends, deformation, or possible cracks. If there is a defect on one of the motor mounts,
contact Customer Success

5.2.3.3 Balancing the propeller
If there is excessive vibration or track during the propeller check, check the propeller for balance.
Unscrew the two DIN 7984 bolts with a 2.5 mm Allen key to detach the propeller.
Use a balancing tool to check that a propeller remains in any position you place it.
